It seems this is a pattern with these people. The software itself is good, however the customer service is terrible. My card was charged for a month when the subscription was off (not to be charged). I then wrote them and asked to issue a refund and they then immediately revoked the access to the system (that they charged my card for already) but told me they could not (were unwilling) issue a refund. I then had no choice but to dispute this on my credit card to get the funds back. Months later, I wanted to re-activate since the software is good, but the Ops manager named Shan B responds via email, since there is no phone support, that because of the chargeback (initiated as they were unwilling to provide my refund after shutting me out of the system) that they would not be offering me any services in the future. TERRIBLE communication, Terrible Customer Service. Good software.

Hi Christian, we're sorry about your experience, but your account of what happened is missing some important context. Your virtual assistant reactivated your account, which resulted in a valid payment. You then filed a chargeback to reverse that payment. When you subsequently reached out about returning, we explained you were welcome back but would need to repay the chargeback amount first. Instead of resolving this, you attempted to create a new account to bypass the outstanding balance - which is when our team made the decision not to allow you back. We're glad you found value in the software, but we have to protect our business by enforcing policies consistently, and we stand behind how our team handled this situation.

Atrocious company. "Email is the quickest way to receive a response" - well I'm sure it is if someone would actually respond! I called 7/16 (day I was billed) to cancel my account - the rep I spoke to said they had it cancelled and a refund should be on the way. 8/16 I'm billed again, I send an email, no response, I call on 8/18 so they 'escalate' my ticket number. I receive an email stating they have no record of me contacting them last month but as a courtesy they'll cancel my account and issue a refund. I respond to that email with my recorded phone call on 7/16 - guess what? No response! I send another email on 8/20 - no response! To top it off, the refund I received for the bill on 8/18 is $50 short! There is no scenario that I would recommend or use this company ever again. They also claim they have no record of me cancelling or responding to the ticket emails and I can't get anyone to call me back! I have several threads of emails I've sent. It is mind blowing that a company would operate this way.

If I could give phoneburner less than a one star, I would. They fraudulently charged my card for over $3,500. I don't know what kind of oversight this was but I am canceling my subscription to PhoneBurner because I can't trust a company that will allow something like this to happen. It's also a shame because I really enjoyed using the service. Be aware that this may happen to you too if you decide to use their service.
