The girl who helped me with the installation was great — her name is Angelica B. I give her 5 stars (awesome). But the follow-up I got after needing to replace a few phones (same company, same service, just different devices) was a headache. They never processed the change; I just ended up sending the phones to their location in Belmont, California. The follow-up from RingCentral felt pretty mediocre, and I don’t even know if they’re going to refund me for those devices.

if I could rate this a zero I would! this company is a joke! their reputation is proceeding them! BEWARE NEW USERS! TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! Been on hold for over an hour just to adjust my bill! I do believe this is a tactic they use to keep you stuck in a ridiculous cycle!

Do NOT use RingCentral. After being a loyal customer for more than ten years, we decided to try their phone service with the understanding that there was a 30-day trial period. When we chose not to continue within that trial window, RingCentral cancelled ALL of our services without authorization—including our fax line that we had relied on for over a decade. They refused to reinstate our original services and told us we would need to transfer our long-standing fax number to another provider. The new provider attempted to obtain the number, but RingCentral would not release it even though they told us they would. When we called RingCentral again, they informed us the number had already been given to someone else. This has created a significant and costly hardship for our business, and the customer service throughout the process has been extremely poor. Avoid RingCentral at all costs.

Super poor customer service. I have signed up the Ringcentral account but with issues during activation so I could not set it up successfully. When I try to reach out the support team by call, the AI receptionist redirected me to a technical team and asked me a couple of unrelated questions. Then he transferred me to an "onboarding" team. Then the "onboarding team" found cannot help to solve the issues and redirected the call to sales team!!!!!And I need to answer their questions all over again but still cannot solve the issue. I spent 1 hour but still cannot solve the issue. My only concern is that my credit card will be charged after 14 days free trial period even I have not activated my account!!!!! I don't want to give any star if that's possible!

Buyer beware if you think you will need to cancel or scale back service. Their service agreement auto renews annually and isn’t month to month. They refuse to let me scale back my service and are basically holding me to their ransom for the next 10 months even though I no longer use their services. To make matters worse, I can’t get a simple email back from my account rep. I’m loathed to write a negative google review for any business, but as this economy stutters you are rolling the dice with your own finances if you decide to do business with them.

RingCentral has made it clear they don’t care about service failures or honoring their own contract terms. Their AI Receptionist repeatedly broke my business during busiest time, disconnecting client calls for months. Technical support admitted they cannot fix the issue, yet RingCentral refuses to cancel the service and insists on billing me through August 18, 2026 — even though the service never worked as promised. What Nicko Jan delos Santos effectively saying in his emails is: “We don’t care about your breach claim. We don’t care that the service didn’t work. We don’t care that technical support admitted they can’t fix it. You signed a contract through 2026, and we’ll bill you whether it works or not.”

Shocking service! I was just on live chat with Leslie who is based in the US having waited for them to come online for 24 hours (as per the auto reply). Leslie can't explain any of the services that they provide because she is based in the US. I wasn't asking about pricing, smply which would be the right product so I could sign up myself now. I explained I couldn't call the UK because it keeps eating up my credit, hence the point of trying to sign up to their services but yet, she repeated the same thing. So sad, such a simple ask. Not happy at all. It's now 10pm in the UK, she suggested I call them in the morning.

I'm in the "if i could leave 0 stars i would" category. My workplace migrated to Ring Central about a year ago. It's 'been nothing but garbled audio, delayed voice, and an occasional service outtage. Our IT staff has monkeyed with the building's WiFi to try and get us stronger signals, and they insist that our internet speed is excellent and it should work. But, it just does not work. I have removed my company phone from my e-mail signatures and request all custoemrs to communicate with me through my cell phone, becuase as far as I am concerned, using Ring Central is pretty much like not having a phone.

Do not waste your time here! We tried to switch our office phones to these guys and after a month and half we are still having issues. They are a total joke when it comes to customer service. Everything turns into we will contact you within 48 hours. When we have an issue we do not have 48 hours to be contacted. If our phones do not work we are not making money. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS YOU WILL REGRET IT!

We’ve been trying to update our credit card for over five days and still have no working phones. Their two-factor authentication system doesn’t even work, the verification code never arrives. After sending the updated credit card form multiple times, their tech support remains useless. They only pass messages from one department to another with no real solution. When you first sign up, everything seems great AND they even assign you an account manager. But that account manager is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND when you actually need help. To make matters worse, they seem to have extremely high employee turnover, so you’ll have a different rep every few weeks.

Choose another provider! In April 2024, we signed a contract with RingCentral and started setting up SMS registration. Unfortunately, their TCR team kept giving us conflicting requirements and adding new ones every time we completed the previous steps. After months of frustration, we switched to Vonage — and successfully completed our registration within just five business days! Our only regret is the countless hours wasted following inadequate instructions from the RingCentral TCR team.

RingCentral has been one of the worst business service experiences I’ve had. We pay every month, yet the service barely works. Messages fail to send, incoming texts never arrive, and every time we contact support, they simply close the ticket without fixing anything. No accountability, no proper technical support, just constant issues and wasted time. This company feels like a scam. Avoid RingCentral at all costs if you want reliable communication for your business.

Getting support is like getting top secret CIA clearance. It's a massive waste of time being put on hold every 30 seconds while your clients are screaming at you for attention, but you are spending your time appeasing a call center operator that you are paying while you watch your buisness crash and burn because you need to ask a simpole question that takes 2 hours of being consistently put on hold before you can get an answer.

I would not recommend Ring Central. We have been using them for over four years and have had problems consistently all four years. We pay for all of their services which include texting capability. We will come to work and they will have our text messaging capability cut off for no reason. There is not a warning before shutting us down . This has happened every couple of months. I do not understand how this company is still in existence. Would not recommend them to any company looking for a reliable phone system. If there was a negative star I would select it.
