I don't recommend this site or program for cleaning lists. I had an error when trying to download, and then they wanted me to pay again to clean the list and try downloading again because if you don't download it at that time (which I couldn't because of an error), then it won't allow you another chance to try download it.

I've used this service to validate emails. Not long after, I noticed goggle search results started showing many zerobounce results when i googled some urls from contacts I had submitted for verification. It seems fairly obvious they used the submitted data file to improve their own products. That's a VAST violation of data trust. Now they've just started offering a service where you can enter a name and they will tell you the person's email. Gee, I wonder where they got all that email info from?!?! Shady and I am done using this service.

Firstly, we would never use your uploaded data for any purpose other than to provide you with validation results. We are very strict with privacy and have many legal documents and respected sources certifying this statement. ZeroBounce is SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA compliant. After you uploaded your email list for validation, what most likely occurred is that you were retargeted with ads on Google search through our advertising program. Like many other companies, we show ads on other websites with our logo once you have visited our website or clicked an ad. It does not mean we shared any data from your contacts. It’s simply a standard marketing practice of companies. Secondly, in regard to the ZeroBounce Email Finder, we are not using any customer data to find these people’s email IDs. Instead, our technology tries and samples many known patterns of email addresses. The email finder requires you to submit a full name and the domain. With this information, we start our identification process to find the correct email. While we understand you can visualize a connection based on your experience, it’s completely unrelated. We would never operate in the manner that you are describing. We're sorry you had a bad experience, and we're happy to answer more questions to clarify these issues. Update: They've reached out to email the file and that worked! Hoping they come up with another way of downloading files separately - may be a good option. Even having the ability for customer service team members to send the file in chat (I could send attachments so perhaps they could?) would be great. I appreciate that they expedited the help and realize they have no control over my security levels, so raising from 1 star to 4. It still ended up delaying my campaign. --- Terrible first experience. Spent $160 on credits, downloaded the file and it's not extracting. They won't send the file unzipped, they told me to download a program to see if it errors, which is not possible due to working for a secure company. This is delaying my email campaign. Not a great experience at all.

Austin with Zerobounce is terrific. I had an issue with the way my data uploaded for a huge list. It didn't validate correctly. I called into ZB and got Austin on the phone. He immediately credited my account when I explained the situation. During these times, every ounce of extra effort is so appreciated. Thank you, Austin! They're lucky to have you. P.S. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars has nothing to do with Austin. The first person I had on chat was rude and very unhelpful.
