Overview
Client Agents provides the workspace available for your selected client. When Client projects is enabled, describe a task to start your own private project, continue its conversation, review private files and notes, and explicitly publish selected items to the shared client workspace. Only the project owner with current client access can open it. Clients that have not switched retain the role-agent workspace described below. Available business actions still follow client access and required approvals. Existing screenshots show the role-agent view, not the new project controls.
How to use this page
Open your projects
Employees open their own project workspace here, with no client to select first. One project can work across the clients you are authorized to serve, and tool access still decides what you can do for each client. On desktop, if you can start projects, the page opens on the New Project composer with nothing selected; pick a project in the sidebar to continue it. A client user selects only a deal permitted for that client account, using the client selector above navigation, and the page opens their first active project, or New Project when they have none.
Open an available agent
In the role-agent workspace: Choose Agent Director, a functional manager, or a focused expert from the left rail. Agent Director opens by default when available. The Role Access matrix controls which roles an employee can see for every selected client, so page access and role access are separate. Client users see only their personal assistant and client-visible roles allowed for their account.
Use your private client conversation
In the role-agent workspace: Each signed client login gets its own Conversation, History, and conversation files, even when another person at the same company uses the same client agent. Start fresh opens a new thread only for the current login, while the prior thread remains in that login's History. One client member cannot open another member's conversation or files.
Ask for an account update
Describe the question and ask the agent to check the relevant records for the selected client. Available information depends on its current business tools and your access. The personal client assistant retains separate limits. Ask for missing evidence to be stated clearly, and review required approvals before changes or paid work.
Answer a waiting question
When Agent needs your input appears, read the current question. For an ordinary question, select your answer, add details if you choose Other, then select Submit answers once and wait for the result. Paid approval cards keep their separate approval controls. If the panel says the question is no longer waiting for an answer, refresh the page and check the latest conversation before answering again. A rejected submission does not restart the stopped or already-resumed response.
Build a client-specific website
In the role-agent workspace: Open Website Expert for the current client. Ask it to research the client's real brand, audience, offer, and industry, then replace the generated starter with a client-specific design fingerprint. The design should define its direction, hero composition, section rhythm, imagery rules, signature motif, and one pattern to avoid. A color or font swap alone is not a completed custom site. Pages should share one brand system while using distinct compositions. Before calling the site custom or complete, Website Expert must clear its design audit and complete visual review.
Open and review the client website
In the role-agent workspace: If that client has a published SalesHive-hosted site, select View website above the conversation to open the public site in a new tab. SalesHive uses the site's custom domain when one is configured; otherwise it opens the SalesHive preview host. Draft and unpublished sites do not show the action. Review the actual published pages for composition, content, mobile usability, and brand fit.
Build and review a list workspace
In the role-agent workspace: Open List Building Expert as an authorized staff user to use Source and filters beside the conversation. Choose ZoomInfo, Apollo, Apify, or Bright Data, set Requested rows, and complete the provider-specific criteria. Save or clear unsaved edits before changing the source, Apollo search type, or Bright Data dataset. Results shows delivered CSV files, row counts, a table preview, and Download CSV. Client users do not receive this staff workspace.
Ask the List Building Expert to work
In the role-agent workspace: As an authorized staff user, use Ask agent to send the current source, filters, and requested count to the expert. Save and ask agent saves unsaved criteria first. Choosing a source or saving filters does not purchase data. In an Apollo people preview, provider-filtered values, work email, and phone may be hidden even though Apollo applied the submitted filters, so a blank preview field is not failed qualification. Review the exact preview rows, validate with the same criteria and count, then require exact-count approval before paid redemption.
Chat or start focused work
Use the composer to send a request, dictate, or attach a supported file. Live activity shows whether the request is waiting, loading, using a tool, reasoning, or writing. Empty response placeholders and internal session markers stay hidden so the transcript remains readable. Staff viewers with model details enabled can also see the model and managed reasoning effort beneath the latest reply. The message box has space below it to keep the lower controls clear of the page edge. On supported desktop browsers, the Double-tap voice shortcut hint sits between the left controls and the microphone and Send buttons in one bottom row. The writing area keeps its taller spacing. The hint is hidden on mobile and may shorten when space is limited.
Choose how client changes are approved
In the role-agent workspace: Where available to staff, use Ask me or Approve for me at the lower left of the composer. Ask me requires chat approval for every client change. Approve for me allows routine updates, while significant campaign, sending, bulk, and paid actions still require approval. These staff approval controls are not available to signed client users.
Review the workspace tabs
In the role-agent workspace: Use Conversation, History, Memory, Files, and Setup when available. Staff can edit only the client-context files exposed in Memory. Setup is a policy summary, not a place to change role grants or page access. Delivered files remain available in Files. Signed client users see only their own conversation history and files, and do not receive staff-only Memory or Setup.
Use the client view
In the role-agent workspace: Signed client members can use the current deal's permitted assistant and role agents, their private Conversation and History, their conversation files, and Start fresh. Ask the selected agent for the work you need. Standard role agents use their currently enabled client tools and retrieve relevant account records when needed. They must explain unavailable information or actions and obtain required approvals. Staff-only Memory, Setup, approval controls, list-building controls, Run now, and enable or pause controls remain hidden. Prospect users continue through onboarding instead of this workspace.
Test employee visibility when authorized
For authorized staff, Test visibility offers a Login as selector. Choose an employee and confirm the preview. Login As uses the selected person's page access. An SDR opens SDR Hub when permitted. Other employees open Crush when permitted, then the next available supported page. Client previews stay in their permitted Platform pages. If no starting page is available, switching stops and asks an administrator to review page access. Use Stop Viewing to end the preview. This staff-only control is not available to client users.
Read older messages
Open a conversation to see its recent messages first. Scroll upward near the top to load earlier messages, or select Load older messages. Your reading position stays anchored as earlier messages appear. If loading fails, select Retry older messages. Return to the latest message with the conversation jump control.
Scroll the agent list
Scroll within the list to reach more available agents. The list keeps scrolling even though no scrollbar is shown.
Expand client agent groups
In the role-agent workspace: Available client-agent categories start expanded unless you have collapsed them in the current view. Select a category heading to collapse or reopen its agent list. Group visibility follows existing client-agent access and does not grant new permissions.
Watch a delivered video
When an agent delivers a stored video file, use the player in the conversation to play, pause or seek without leaving the chat. The caption shows its filename and size. Select Download to save the file. Linked external files keep their existing open-link behavior.
Find shared workspace controls
CRM and Platform pages show a row of icons at the right of the top header: Search, Background, theme, the assistant when available, and notifications. CRM Video Conferencing omits this header. Search and notifications follow the current workspace. Use Find a page in the sidebar to filter navigation links; on mobile, open the navigation menu first. Select the Search icon or press Ctrl/Cmd+K to open a search field under the header; Escape closes it. Platform client selection remains above sidebar navigation. Select the SalesHive logo to open User Notes.
Find a navigation page
Type in Find a page... above the navigation links to filter the available pages. Use Clear navigation search to restore the list. This filters page links; use the Search icon in the top header to search workspace records.
Start a private client project when available
If the selected client shows Client projects, enter a specific task in What would you like to do? and select Start project. This creates your private project and starts its first request. Reopen it under My projects to continue in chat. Project mode is enabled separately for each client; clients still showing role agents keep their existing workspace. Internal Coding projects are a separate feature.
Review private project files and notes
Open your project and use Files for delivered work or Memory for available project notes. Only the owner with current access to this client can open the project, its conversation, files and notes. A colleague with access to the same client cannot open your project. Existing shared client records remain separate. Project requests for Google documents or spreadsheets return private Markdown or CSV drafts; check the delivered format rather than assuming a shared Google file was created.
Publish a selected project item
Review the exact file in Files, or save the selected note in Memory before publishing. Select Publish and read Publish to client workspace? Confirm Publish only when the item should be visible to people with access to this client. Publication creates a separate shared copy of that item. Your original, conversation and other project content stay private. Publishing the same file or saved note version again does not create another copy. Publish a private CSV before using it in a shared-client import workflow; publication itself does not import contacts or send outreach.
Recover a project that could not start
If creation reports that the project exists but the task could not start, open the retained project and retry through its conversation. Do not create another project for the same task. Continue client projects through owner chat, not Run now. Required approvals still apply to paid work and shared business changes.
