Overview
Communication Chat is the client workspace for messaging the SalesHive team in deal-scoped conversations. It opens the shared conversation for your deal, keeps other clients' channels out of view, and supports messages, search, threads, links, files, and saved drafts.
How to use this page
Open your deal conversation
Open Communication, then select Chat. The page loads the conversation available to your client deal. On a first visit, the shared general conversation is prepared for you and the assigned strategist.
Choose a conversation or search
Select a conversation in the left sidebar. Use Search channels or messages to filter conversation names, then press Enter or select the search action to search message text.
Send a message
Type in the message box and select Send, or press Enter. Use Shift plus Enter for a new line. The composer can add an emoji, format text, insert a link, dictate text when your browser supports it, or attach an allowed file.
Keep track of messages
Use Unreads, Threads, and Drafts when those views appear in the sidebar. Unreads gathers messages you have not read, Threads collects replies, and Drafts brings back text you started but did not send. Scroll upward to load older messages without losing your place.
Use conversation tools
Use Links to review saved links and files, Notes for shared channel notes, and People to view conversation members. If a call is available, the call control opens the live conversation call.
