Overview

SalesHive Video is your team's deal-scoped meeting room inside SalesHive. Choose a team workspace or one of your CRM deals for new calls, start or schedule a call, join with a code, add your deal's AI Rep, record and review meetings, and manage camera, microphone, screen sharing, chat, transcripts, and the floating camera overlay from the browser. The client lobby shows calls available to your workspace and labels their context. The green room and Settings show Default input device plus available non-Zoom microphones. If the browser default resolves to Zoom Audio Device, SalesHive chooses an available non-Zoom input instead, and Reconnect microphone uses a safe available input.

How to use this page

  1. Choose the call destination

Use Call destination at the top of the lobby. Team and prospect workspace keeps the call in the shared workspace. Select one of your CRM deals when the recording, transcript, and analysis should attach to that opportunity. The selected destination applies when you start or schedule the call.

  2. Start, join, or schedule a call

Start a call now, join with a code, or schedule a title and time for later. Scheduled links can be recurring and remain available until an authorized user ends or cancels them. Your client lobby starts with the calls available in your workspace, and rows can show whether the call belongs to the Client workspace or a Client CRM deal.

  3. Check the green room

Before you enter, choose your microphone and camera and set None, Light blur, Strong blur, or an available backdrop. The recording consent line appears before joining. Your microphone starts on and camera starts off by default. The microphone starts on Default input device, and Zoom Audio Device is not offered as a selectable microphone. In supported Chrome or Edge browsers, the floating camera overlay is also prepared from the Join meeting gesture.

  4. Use the in-call controls

Use Mic, Start video, Share, Chat, Transcript, People, Background, Music, and Settings while connected. The live transcript is speaker-labeled. In Settings, choose a camera before starting video so SalesHive uses that same camera when you select Start video or press V. If that camera becomes unavailable, choose another in Settings, then try again. Settings can also switch devices, request browser-supported steady-noise reduction, change camera framing, and keep everyone in grid during a screen share. Settings includes Default input device and filters Zoom virtual microphones. If an older call is using a Zoom virtual microphone, opening Settings moves it to a safe available input. When a camera is off, the profile photo sits above the name so the participant label stays visible.

  5. Keep people and chat available while sharing

When you share your screen, your local view stays in the gallery so you can keep participants visible. Other participants see the shared screen as the main view by default, and either side can pin a view or use the grid setting. On a narrow screen, Chat opens as a compact sheet above the call controls instead of covering the entire call.

  6. Keep cameras and chat visible while sharing

In supported Chrome or Edge browsers, the floating camera overlay is enabled by default and opens when you join. Open Settings to turn it off if you do not want it, or to reopen it later. Use Mute or Unmute in that always-on-top window, or select Chat to read and send the same in-call messages without returning to the main call. Close Chat to return to camera tiles. Safari and Firefox hide these controls.

  7. Add your AI Rep

Select AI Rep in an active call. Choose Join this meeting for live assistance, or Start a training session so the rep interviews you about your business and remembers what you teach it for future calls. The rep uses the centrally managed conversation, response, voice, and speaking-pace defaults. Select Dismiss AI to remove it.

  8. Record and read transcripts

Calls record by default. While recording is active, a compact Recording indicator appears in the call header beside Fullscreen without covering participant video. Everyone still receives the one-time visible and spoken notice when recording begins. Finished recordings appear in the lobby, with Watch and Transcript when available.

Common questions

Your client lobby is scoped to the calls available to your workspace, including calls linked to your client deals. It starts with the full available list rather than a My meetings or All toggle. Context labels distinguish Client workspace and Client CRM deal calls.
Choose the deal in Call destination before selecting Start call or Get a meeting link. The recording, transcript, and analysis then attach to that CRM opportunity.
Join this meeting adds it for live assistance. Start a training session lets it interview you and remember what you teach for future calls.
Client calls use the centrally managed default voice and speaking pace. The in-call picker focuses on meeting assistance or training.
Yes. Calls record by default, the active recording state appears in the call header, and ready recordings appear in the lobby.
No. It sits compactly in the header beside Fullscreen. A separate one-time visible and spoken notice still appears when recording starts.
In a supported Chrome or Edge browser, the overlay is enabled by default and opens from the Join meeting gesture. Use Settings to turn it off or reopen it later. Safari and Firefox hide the control.
When a finished recording has a transcript, select Transcript beside Watch.
Open Settings, choose an available camera, then select Start video again. SalesHive keeps that selected camera when video starts.
Yes. In Chrome or Edge, open the overlay from Settings or let it open when you join, then select Chat to read and send the same in-call messages.
Follow the in-call alert, then use Reconnect microphone to retry without leaving the meeting.
The green room starts with the browser Default input device. Zoom Audio Device is excluded from the picker. If the browser default resolves to that virtual device, SalesHive chooses the first available non-Zoom microphone instead. You can choose another available input in Settings.
The profile photo stays in the space above the name, so the participant label remains readable in filmstrip, grid, and focus views.
