The challenge

Where they started

What they sell
Software that digitizes decades of county and city records and makes them searchable, with AI keyword search and automatic tagging.

Local government is a hard market to call into. The buyers are elected and appointed officials, such as treasurers, auditors, commissioners and finance heads, at county offices in 15 priority states and at city offices in Connecticut and Vermont. The message had to explain the value of searchable records to offices that have kept paper and scanned files for decades.

What we did

The playbook, step by step

A managed program run on the SalesHive platform, tuned every week by a dedicated strategist.

01

Built two lists from the client's plan: counties in the priority states, and cities only in Connecticut and Vermont.

02

Aimed at the officials who feel the records problem: treasurers, auditors, county commissioners, CFOs and finance department heads.

03

Ran a phone-only program. 138 of the 141 meetings were booked on calls.

04

Tracked every booked meeting in our records, with a strategist reviewing results and tuning the targeting as the program ran.
