Overview
Account Search queries third-party databases for accounts and records that the standard people search does not cover well (for example local businesses, company firmographics, hiring signals, and marketplace sellers) for the selected client. Pick a data source, set filters and a record limit, run the query, and review past runs. A readiness panel summarizes your source, filters, estimated cost, and history before you spend. Pulling records costs money.
How to use this page
Select the client
Pick the client in the top-right switcher so the query and its results belong to that deal.
Choose a data source
Pick the database that fits what you are after (for example Google Maps for local businesses, or a firmographics dataset). The readiness panel shows what the source covers.
Add filters
Use Select field to add a filter, then set its value. For a value-list filter, type a value and press Enter to add it (multiple values match with OR). For a single-value filter, pressing Enter runs the whole query once you have at least one filter set.
Set a record limit and run
Choose how many records to pull. The estimated cost updates with the limit. Records cost money, so keep the limit tight and the filters specific, then run the query.
Review recent queries
The Query History list shows each run's dataset, filters, record count, cost, who ran it, and date. Use Load to reload a past query's filters or CSV to download its records.
What the buttons do
- Data source
- Selects which third-party database to query.
- Select field / Add filter
- Adds a filter on one of the dataset's supported fields, then lets you set its value.
- Record limit
- Caps how many records to pull, which sets the estimated cost shown next to it.
- Run Query
- Executes the query and bills for the records returned. Requires at least one filter. Pressing Enter in a single-value filter input also runs it.
- Load
- Reloads a past query's dataset and filters so you can re-run it with tweaks.
- CSV
