Overview

Contact Quick Lookup finds the best available match for one person before you add them as a prospect. Search by work email, or by first and last name with an optional company. Email and name plus company searches return full contact details when available (email, direct phone, mobile, LinkedIn, title and company info). A name-only search returns free preview matches without email or phone, so you can spot the right person before spending enrichment credits.

How to use this page

  1. Choose how to search

Use the Search by toggle at the top: Email or Name and company. Email gives the most accurate match. Pick Name and company when you only have a name, such as a referral or a lead from research. Switching modes clears the previous results and any error.

  2. Enter the details and look up

In Email mode, type a work email. In Name and company mode, first and last name are required and company is optional. Click Look up or press Enter. The button stays disabled until the required fields are filled.

  3. Review the matches

Results appear as cards, best match first. Each card shows the name, title, an Accuracy score, contact details and company details when available. The header shows how many matches were found, or Showing X of Y when there are more than fit on the page.

  4. Copy what you need

Use the copy icon next to an email, phone or mobile number to grab just that field. Use Copy all details at the bottom of a card to copy the whole contact as a clean text block for a note or import.

What the buttons do

Search by: Email / Name and company
Switches between the two search modes. Email takes one work email. Name and company takes a first and last name plus an optional company. Changing mode clears the current results and error.
Company (optional)
In Name and company mode, leave it blank for a free preview search, or fill it in to narrow the results and request full details when available.
Look up
Runs the search. Pressing Enter in any field does the same. Shows Searching... while it works.
Search tips
A collapsed section under the form with quick tips. Click it to expand. It shows before your first search.
Accuracy
The contact accuracy score from 0 to 100 on each result card. Green is 90 and up, amber is 70 to 89, and red is below 70.
Full contact details
A badge in the results header that appears when the results were enriched with full contact data rather than preview data.
Copy all details
Copies the name, title, email, phone, mobile, LinkedIn, company and website from that card as plain text.

Common questions

Email gives the most precise match and requests full contact details for the top results. Use Name and company when you only know who the person is. Adding a company narrows the results and requests full details when available.
A search with just a first and last name returns free preview matches, which do not include email or phone. A name alone can match many people, so no enrichment credits are spent. Once you spot the right person, add their company (or use their email) and search again to get full details.
Try a work email instead, add the company's legal name, or remove middle initials and punctuation from the name.
If enrichment returns no usable person details, the page shows the available search preview. In Email mode, a note explains that full details were unavailable. Empty provider responses do not appear as blank contact cards. Review the preview and your search details before trying again; a repeated email or name-and-company lookup can spend credits, and a missing result does not prove that the previous lookup was free.
Both look up a single person. Quick Lookup is the lightweight check to confirm the best match and copy the details before you add or contact the prospect.
SalesHive team members can use it. Client workspaces need a package that includes list building because email and name-and-company lookups can spend data credits. Without that access, the page shows Contact Quick Lookup is part of list building instead of the search form. Name-only searches return free previews.
