Overview

Campaign Context (Tools > Campaign Context, where Calling Scripts used to be) puts every campaign's Calling Context and Email Context in one place for the selected client. Callers, the teleprompter and the Email Agent still read each campaign's own context; this page edits them in place with the same editors as the campaign's Calling Context and Email Context tabs. You can also choose which campaign new campaigns copy their context from, and copy one campaign's context to others. Each campaign's call script stays at the top of its Calling Context, under CALL SCRIPT. Pick a client first; without one the page asks you to select a client. SalesHive staff, Self-serve and Platform Only clients can edit. Other client logins can read the contexts, but the default picker, Copy to campaigns and Make default are not available to them.

How to use this page

  1. Pick a campaign

The left list shows the client's campaigns (archived ones are left out, except the Playbook campaign). Each row shows tags: Playbook, Live or Paused, Calling or No calling, and Email or No email, so you can spot missing context at a glance. A star marks the default for new campaigns. Select a campaign to open its context on the right.

  2. Edit the Calling Context or Email Context

Use the Calling Context and Email Context tabs above the editor. Each works exactly like the matching tab on the campaign: edit and save, generate or regenerate, set how customized each call or email is, and try it with Test teleprompter or Test emails. Open campaign takes you to that tab on the campaign itself.

  3. Choose the default for new campaigns

In Default for new campaigns, pick a campaign, or None (new campaigns start empty). From then on, each new campaign for this client copies that campaign's Calling Context and Email Context, with their customization levels and email limit per prospect, when it is created. You can also select a campaign and choose Make default. Later edits to either campaign stay separate.

  4. Copy a context to other campaigns

Select the source campaign and choose Copy to campaigns. Tick Calling Context, Email Context or both, then tick the campaigns to copy to (Select all picks every other campaign). Each row says whether the copy adds or replaces that campaign's context, and a warning counts campaigns whose own text will be replaced. Choose Copy to N campaigns. The replaced text stays in each campaign's change history.

  5. Practice the campaign

Choose Practice call (in the Calling Context editor, or at the top on the Email Context tab) to roleplay this campaign with your manager playing the prospect, using the live teleprompter. It works before launch and never counts toward campaign stats.

Common questions

Separate calling scripts are retired. Each campaign's call script sits at the top of its Calling Context, under CALL SCRIPT, followed by OBJECTION HANDLING, COMPANY INFORMATION and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. This page took its place in Tools as the one spot to manage every campaign's context. Saved scripts were merged into the top of each campaign's context, and the earlier context stays in change history.
No. The default is only copied when a new campaign is created, both from New Campaign and when an agent creates a campaign. After that, the new campaign's context is its own, and editing either campaign does not change the other.
That campaign is skipped so their edit is not overwritten. The message after copying says how many changed meanwhile or could not be updated, so you can open them and check.
Managed client logins can read every campaign's context here but cannot change it; your SalesHive team manages it. Leave a note in your Playbook to request a change.
In the OBJECTION HANDLING section of the Calling Context, right below the call script.
