Overview

Client Billing (Settings) shows the full billing profile for the selected client: subscription details, payment method, invoice history, and a billable profile you can edit. Data syncs from Zoho Billing (or Stripe, depending on the client's billing provider). Use it to review charges, update the billing contact info, and handle payments.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Pick the client in the top-right switcher to view their billing. The page loads billing data synced from Zoho Billing (or Stripe).

  2. Check the subscription and balance at a glance

The stat grid shows four summary cards: Current Package (plan name), Subscription Status (active, trial, etc.), Next Billing (amount and date), and Outstanding Balance (total due plus any credits).

  3. Update billing profile information

The Billing Profile section contains editable fields for Display Name, Company Name, Billing Email, Phone, and address (Street, City, State, Zip). Make changes and click Save Changes to write them to Zoho Billing.

  4. Review the payment method

The Payment Method card shows the saved payment type (labeled ACH for Forte gateway or Card for Authorize.net), the last four digits, bank name or gateway, and expiry date. Click Update Payment Method to open Zoho's hosted page to change the method.

  5. Review subscription details

The Subscription card shows the Plan name, current Term (start-to-end dates), billing Interval (e.g. monthly), and Next bill date.

  6. View and pay invoices

The Invoice History table lists recent Zoho invoices with Invoice number, Status (badge: paid, overdue, sent, etc.), Date, Due date, Total, and Balance. Click View to open the invoice in Zoho, or Pay on any invoice with a balance due to open Zoho's hosted payment page.

Common questions

This is the selected client's own billing profile in Settings. The admin billing area (Operations > Client Billing) manages billing across all clients.
Some clients are billed through Stripe. Those clients show a Stripe-hosted billing view with subscription and invoice data from Stripe instead of the Zoho Billing hub.
The Payment Method section shows ACH when the gateway is Forte (bank account-based) and Card when the gateway is Authorize.net (credit/debit card). This helps you quickly identify the type of payment method on file.
Billing data syncs from Zoho Billing (or Stripe) on page load. The Zoho customer ID and last synced timestamp appear in the header. Changes made in Zoho directly are reflected the next time the page loads.
