Overview
A company page brings together one company's details, the deals linked to it, and the contacts whose email or website is on its domain. Edit the name and website here; linked deals keep their own company text.
How to use this page
Open a company
From Deals > Companies, click a company, or click the Company record link on a deal. All companies at the top returns to the list.
Edit the name or website
In About, click Name or Website, type the change and press Enter or click away. Saving appears while it saves, and an error message explains anything that fails. The name cannot be left blank: if you clear it and click away, the saved name comes back and nothing is saved. A new website refreshes the contacts list.
Review the deals
Deals lists each linked deal with its stage, sales rep, close date and amount. Click one to open it. Deal totals on the left show the deal count, open deals and value, and won value.
See who works there
Contacts at this company lists your contacts whose email or website is on the company domain, with title and email. Archived contacts are marked. Click a contact to open it. This list is read only and never changes the contact.
What the buttons do
- All companies
- Returns to the Companies list.
- Name / Website
- Edit in place and save when you press Enter or leave the field.
- Domain
- Opens the company's website in a new tab.
- Open the pipeline
- Shown when no deals are linked yet. Opens the Deals pipeline so you can link one.
- Try again / Retry
- Loads the contacts or the company again after an error.
