Overview
Deal Reports is a live summary of the selected client's own deal pipeline. It shows the total open pipeline value, open value broken down by stage and by owner, and the deals won and lost in each of the last 12 months. It reads your deals and never changes them. Open it from Reports in the Deals sidebar group or the Reports button on the Deals page.
How to use this page
Open the report
Choose the client in the sidebar, then select Reports under Deals, or select Reports in the Deals page header. If no client is selected, the page asks you to pick one first. Select All deals at the top to go back to the pipeline.
Read the totals
Three cards sit at the top: Open pipeline (value and number of open deals), Won in the last 12 months and Lost in the last 12 months. Open deals are every deal not in a won or lost stage, including deals with no stage. A deal with no amount counts as $0 but still counts as a deal.
See open pipeline by stage and owner
Open pipeline by stage lists your open stages in the same order as the pipeline, with No stage last when any open deal has no stage. Open pipeline by owner lists each deal owner by highest open value, with No owner last. Each row shows its value and deal count, and the bar shows its share. When no open deal has an amount, bars compare deal counts instead. Hover a row to see its full numbers.
Review won and lost by month
The Won and lost by month table lists the last 12 months, newest first, with Won, Won value, Lost and Lost value columns. The orange bar is won and the grey bar is lost. Each won or lost deal is counted in the month of its close date. A deal with no close date, or one still in a later month, is placed by another date instead: the month it last moved stage, or the month it was created. A note under the table says how many deals were placed this way.
