Overview

Team Members manages who can sign in to this client's workspace. A stat band shows Active, Pending invites, and Archived counts. Invite new people, resend or track pending invites, reset passwords, and archive members who should no longer have access. Admins can also open the app as another user to troubleshoot. Everything here is scoped to the client named under the page title.

How to use this page

  1. Review the team

The stat band at the top shows how many members are Active, how many have a Pending invite, and how many are Archived. Each card lists the member's name, email, when they joined, and their last login. Your own account is tagged You.

  2. Filter by pending or archived

Use the two toggles above the list to switch the view. Pending Invites shows people who were invited but have not signed in yet; Show Archived shows deactivated members. The toggles are mutually exclusive, and each shows its count when there is one.

  3. Invite a member

Click Invite User, enter a name and email, and click Create User. The new member appears with an Invited badge and an invite email is sent automatically. If something goes wrong, an inline error explains why.

  4. Resend a pending invite

For anyone still showing the Invited badge, use Resend Invite on their card to send the invite email again. This is the action that replaces Reset Password until they have signed in and set a password.

  5. Reset a password

For an active member, click Reset Password, set a new password of at least 8 characters, and choose whether to email it to them. A toast confirms the reset. This does not apply to pending invites.

  6. Archive or reactivate

Click Archive to revoke a member's access; they move to the Archived filter and can be brought back later with Reactivate. You cannot archive your own account.

Common questions

The person has been invited but has not signed in yet. Until they accept, their card shows Resend Invite instead of Reset Password.
Use Archive. It revokes their access and moves them to the Archived filter, and you can Reactivate them at any time. Members are archived, never permanently deleted, so history stays intact.
The Reset Password and Archive actions are hidden on your own card. Change your own password from General Settings (client portal) or the login screen.
Admins can open the app exactly as another active member sees it, which is useful for troubleshooting access or reproducing an issue. It appears only for admins and only on active members.
The client name under the Team Members title. Team members here are scoped to that client's workspace.
