Overview

Upload History is the client-scoped audit trail for CSV uploads, campaign imports, and manual contact batches. It shows total rows alongside deduplicated unique contacts, then provides source, owner, campaign, re-tag, download, Send to Files, view, search, and list-record cleanup actions. Use Send to Files when an agent needs the live roster on the client Files tab. Finished imports also create that Files copy automatically.

How to use this page

  1. View import history

The page is scoped to the selected client and lists every saved CSV upload, campaign import, and manual batch. The summary band shows Total Uploads, Total in Uploads (all saved list memberships), and Unique Contacts (deduplicated contacts across those memberships). Each row shows list name and file, contact count, source badge, campaign, uploader, and date. Use Send to Files when an agent needs the live roster on the client Files tab.

  2. Review per-batch stats

In each row, the contact count is paired with a small breakdown: new counts contacts created by that batch, while updated counts rows that matched an existing contact and were merged or updated, including within-file duplicates. Use View to open the matching contacts in Manage Contacts for the full import result and any skipped, blocklisted, campaign, notes, or follow-up details.

  3. Re-tag contacts from a batch

After import, you can add or update tags on all contacts from a specific upload batch. This is useful for organizing contacts by source, campaign, or date range without re-importing.

  4. Send a list to Files

Choose Send to Files on a batch row to copy that list's live contacts onto the client Files tab. The saved file is named from the list plus agent roster. The toast reports the contact count and file name so client agents can review it. A finished import also writes this Files copy automatically.

  5. Delete a list record

Click the delete action on any batch row to remove the list grouping. The contacts themselves stay in the client's pool; only the grouping record is removed.

  6. Download original file

For CSV uploads, click the download link to retrieve the original file you imported.

What the buttons do

Source badge
Shows how contacts entered: CSV Upload (file import), Campaign Import (added through a campaign), or Manual (added by hand).
Per-batch stats
Shows the batch contact count with new and updated counts. Updated includes rows matched to an existing contact, including within-file duplicates.
Re-tag
Add or update tags on all contacts from a specific import batch. Organize contacts without re-importing.
Send to Files
Copies this list's live contacts onto the client Files tab so agents can review and clean the roster.
Delete list
Remove the list grouping record. The contacts remain in the client's pool. Does not delete the contacts themselves.
Download original file
Download the CSV file that was uploaded for this batch (available for CSV Uploads).

Common questions

No. Deleting removes only the list record (the grouping). The contacts stay in the client's pool.
CSV Upload is a file you imported. Campaign Import came in through a campaign. Manual was added by hand.
Find the batch row on Upload History and click the Re-tag action. You can add or update tags for every contact in that batch.
Each row shows the batch contact count, new contacts, and updated rows. Updated includes rows that matched an existing contact and were merged or updated, including within-file duplicates. Open the batch's contacts in Manage Contacts for the full import summary, including skipped, blocklisted, campaign, notes, and follow-up details when those counts exist.
Yes. When you import a CSV, the mapper has fields for Notes and Follow Up Date. Both are populated on import and reflected in the per-batch stats.
Total in Uploads adds every saved list membership, so a contact present in multiple lists can count more than once. Unique Contacts counts each contact once across the selected client's lists.
It copies that list's live contacts onto the client Files tab as a CSV. The contacts stay in the client's pool. This is a Files-tab copy for agents, not a download of the original upload file.
Usually no. A finished import already copies the live roster to Files when it can. Use Send to Files if that automatic copy is missing or you need a fresh one.
