Overview

Deals is the selected client's own sales pipeline, a kanban board of their deals organized by stage. Use it to track each deal from first stage to won or lost, add new deals, and move them along by dragging between columns. The header shows the deal count and total pipeline value for the client. This is the client's internal CRM for the opportunities SalesHive helps generate.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Pick the client in the top-right switcher. The board loads their deals grouped into columns, one per pipeline stage, with a No stage column for any deal not yet placed. The header shows the client name, deal count, and total pipeline value. If the board fails to load, you get a Could not load deals message with a Retry button.

  2. Add a deal

Click New deal to open the add form. Enter a deal name (required), optional company and amount, and choose a starting stage (defaults to the first stage). Press Enter in the name field or click Create to add it. If the create fails, an error toast tells you instead of the card silently not appearing.

  3. Move a deal along

Drag a deal card from one stage column to another to update its stage. The change saves automatically. If the save is rejected, the card rolls back to its original column and you get an error toast.

  4. Start from an empty board

When a client has no deals yet, the board shows a No deals yet panel with a Create first deal button to open the add form. Once deals exist they fill the stage columns.

  5. Set up your stages first

If the columns do not match your sales process, click Edit stages in the header (or open the Stages page) to rename, reorder, and define won and lost stages, then come back here.

What the buttons do

Edit stages
Header button that opens the Stages page to rename, reorder, or add pipeline stages.
Deal name

Stage select

Common questions

It holds deals that have not been assigned to a stage yet. Drag them into a stage to place them.
The stage change was rejected when saving, so the card returns to its original column and an error toast explains it. Try the move again; if it keeps failing, refresh the board.
Click Edit stages in the header (or open the Stages page) to add, rename, reorder, or mark won and lost stages.
Meetings track the appointments SalesHive sets. Deals is the client's own pipeline for the opportunities that come out of those meetings.
