Sales outsourcing is the contracting of a company’s sales force to an outside firm. The practice has become increasingly common as companies seek to save money on labor costs. Usually, the outside firm provides sales staff who are experienced in making sales calls and generating leads. The firm may also provide other services such as customer service, appointment setting, and data entry.
